Description:
When I select the + icon to create new a new model, a window pop up as expected, but many icons are missing.  Similarly, when I select "Add Diagram" from the Model's drop down menu, a blank canvas open up but no icons at all, including the one to create new tables from the EER Diagram window.

How to repeat:
From the Home Screen:
1) Click on + icon. (you'll see no icons to add new diagram or to name the model)
2) Model -> Add Diagram (a window pop up but no icons to add table)

The functionality of the vertical tool bar is there but observed to the point of invisibility. If you hover your mouse over the blank vertical tool bar the tool tips for the different icons appears and you can select them. The issue seems to be the icons are hidden to the user, not that they are missing altogether.

The icons are there but hidden though, and pretty hard to select what you want specially if you are new with the app. Was trying to switch to a different view scheme as I got dark mode as default and though it might fix it although can't figure out how to do it. 
Any news about a fix for this? I'm kind of stuck as I can't donwngrade the mac OS and neither any older workBench work with lattest OS

The icons are invisible! How on earth are we supposed to use the functions?

As a workaround, use the hotkeys for now. "L" to add a layer, "N" to add text, "1"-"4" for cardinality, etc. Move your mouse slowly down the blank toolbar to get the tooltips that show what the hotkeys are.

I was advised to click through two tickets because mine was a duplicate to land here with no resolution. This is amazing.

The rush to fix a crash in previous versions, making the modelling tool unusable in Sonoma, has made the tool unusable in Sonoma. Did anyone look at the tool working before they released it? Or did the developer just comment out the crashing library which seems to have taken everything else out? This bug and another few that have been reported should all be s2 at the very least.

This is a great tool for database design and querying. Please fix it properly.

Hi, pls provide fix soon it has been months since the workbench is not usable on Sonoma OS. Honestly, the severity level should be Critical

Do they ever fix these bugs?  The app is useless to me until it is fix.  I would call this an S1 bug, not an S3...

What is a little bit frustrating is the total lack of information. Fixing bugs takes time; fixing complicated bugs takes even longer. You could at least acknowledge that you are actively working on a fix. A rough estimate would be highly appreciated.

I also can't see the list of diagrams on the "MySQL Model tab", or a button to "Add Diagram". Same issue is happening; the buttons are there and I can click on them, only they are invisible. I assume it is related to the same bug.

Use the keyboard shortcuts as a workaround for the invisible toolbar (as others have said above).

So MySQL Workbench is totally broken for months now on Sonoma and we're no longer able to use it. Is there any official statement from Oracle if that product has reached EOL and they'd like to bury it or is there a fix in the works?

I've never seen a company neglecting a product so seriously. I'm not a paying customer, so I cannot ask for anything. But this raises some questions about general software quality of such a big company.
