This bug is still present, Windows 10, cancelling a Table Import Wizard job, which was running really, really slowly (10 records per minute). 2020-05-08.

Just got the same situation. I imported a CSV to MySql workbench, very slow process (30MB csv - 1h progress and not even 50%).. so half way i stopped the process and i got an error "Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: '_ProgressBar'. Next thing, MySql workbench is not responding. using latest MySql workbench as of 19/10/2020 (v. 8.0.21 build 16448441 CE -64bit) Thanks.

Note that you also get this message if your import fails and you cancel.

Experiencing same bug... Windows 11 Pro for Workstations build 22621.1992 MySQL Workbench version 8.0.33 build 2947366 CE (64 bits) Here is the Action Output I'm getting 17:33:28 DEALLOCATE PREPARE stmt Error Code: 1243 Unknown prepared statement handler (stmt) given to DEALLOCATE PREPARE Also, window that pops up titled "MySQL Workbench Unexpected Error" states "Cannot access a disposed object." Object name: '_ProgressBar'. I have to restart workbench before I do another Data Import or it will move at a glacial pace as described in other comments.
