Description:
The mysql-essential-5.0.21-winx64.msi file fails to install a Service, and the configuration wizard fails (tried it several times).

The machine is a dual-core P4 D930 with EM64T support.

How to repeat:
As Administrator user, just install mysql-essential-5.0.21-winx64.msi on a clean Windows XP Professional x64 edition system.

Thank you for a problem report. It is a known problem. See bug #14649, for example. Bug #20529 describes one of possible reasons for this problem. Check again with a version with both these bugs fixed, when it will be released.
