I have been using MYSQL Workbench for some time on Windows 7 64bit. It appears that all the mysql apps run 32bit. I have it set to check for updates at midnight. After the last automatic update, mysql workbench started crashing as I was editing SQL. I downloaded the C++ redistributable 32 bit package and was able to get the new MYSQL Installer for Windows - Community to upgrade.No other upgrades are available. I am running version 6.3 CE. I will miss a deadline and have to move to another product if this is not dealt with immediately.

I uninstalled and reinstalled (x64) which cleared the problem.
