Description:
With upgrade of installer from 1.4.33 to 1.4.34 the "Check for community updates" fails, whether launched manually (via Notifier) or automatically.

Error is :

Software Update
Error launching the process that calls the MySQL Installer API to check for updates:

Note that Launch MySQL Installer (via Notifier) seems to work fine.

Note2: I could not find a log detailing the error.

How to repeat:
Let automated check for updates run, or launch "Check for community updates" from Notifier.

This error was fixed before and is now back again.
Could you please explain how that can be?
