Description:
According to https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17952_01/workbench-en/wb-what-is-new-8.html:
"MySQL Workbench now uses utf8mb4 as the connection and client character set, replacing utf8mb3."

This is however not the case as "'character_set_connection" and "character_set_client" is still set to "utf8" when connecting to a server with version 5.7.25.

How to repeat:
1. Connect to a MySQL server v5.7.25 with Workbench
2. Execute SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'character_set_%';
