No (maybe), that user is complaining the heights of the rows. Or at least that what it sounds like. When I run a SELECT query, I can't view the table because I am stuck with the little "LOADING" spinner.

The bug described is the RESULT GRID isn't showed then you can't see the data row(s) and get impression is stuck.

If anyone is interested my workaround (until Mysql release fixes the issue)... I downloaded oracle's source code , found the issue and recompiled & created a distribution dmg https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2fTesDcrHzVRGVFWEdILWpuaEE this has worked for some people as per the original bug I logged on 5 sept https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=87714
