Description:
Check for update function in the help menu reports
   "You are already using the latest version of MySQL Workbench"
But there is Workbench 6.2.4 already available on MOS.

Not sure if this happens only to the commercial version or also for the community version. But the commercial version is broken at least.

How to repeat:
Run Workbench 6.2.3 commercial edition.
Click on "Help->Check for Updates".

Suggested fix:
Show an error if the check cannot be done correctly.

Same on Mac OS X:

Running 6.3.3, check for update says I am running the latest version.

The latest is 6.3.4.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.3.6 release, and here's the changelog entry:

The Check for Update functionality did not detect newer Workbench versions.

Thank you for the bug report.
