Description:
I'm trying to setup connection / system profile for remote CentOS administration 
the app didn't have an installation type CentOS
so it failed on click "Test connection" : ERROR Could not determine remote OS details

How to repeat:
Create a new connection / system profile for remote administration

my systems have the binary : lsb_release 
via :
yum install redhat-lsb-core

on CentOS 6.5

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.3.7 release, and here's the changelog entry:

MySQL Workbench lacked a CentOS profile, so could fail to make remote
connections to a CentOS machine.
