Hello Patrick, in connection management on the system Profile tab you can select Linux and then pickup Custom where you'll be able to fill up all details by hand. Please let us know if this fixes your issue.

Posted by developer: Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 8.0.21 release, and here's the proposed changelog entry from the documentation team: MySQL Workbench server administration could not acquire management access to Oracle Solaris.
