Description:
The Bulk Data Transfer procedure fails due to errors like theese:

15:12:04 [ERR][ copytable]: Failed opening connection to MySQL: Connection using old (pre-4.1.1) authentication protocol refused (client option 'secure_auth' enabled)
15:12:04 [ERR][ copytable]: Exception: mysql_real_connect: Connection using old (pre-4.1.1) authentication protocol refused (client option 'secure_auth' enabled)

Note that "Use the old authentication protocol" is enabled (ticked) on both connections (target and source).

How to repeat:
Reproduce always using Database Migration Wizard among two connections which require the configured user to log in with the "old" authentication protocol.

Have you tried resetting the MySQL user password (same password, but set again)?

I do not konw how this could be relevant. All steps *before* effective data migration work well with "Use Old Authentication Protocol" enabled. At the step where the wizard really begins to copy data the procedure stops with the error depicted above.

This, IMHO, means that not all the steps of the wizard do read the connection settings set for target and source at the very beginning or the raw copy data step is not configured to support "Old Authentication Protocol".
