Force the application to open in low res mode: Open Finder Click Applications Select MySQL Workbench Cmd+I to open get into Check Open in Low Resolution Mode

I can confirm that moving MySQL workbench to Low Res mode makes it work fine.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 5.2.44, and here's the changelog entry: On Mac OS X systems with the Retina display, the mouse cursor would register incorrect mouse coordinates. Thank you for the bug report.
