Description:
I downloaded and ran version 5.2.34 this morning and when I run it, I get the spash screen then nothing.  The splash screen displays, then goes away and I get nothing.

How to repeat:
Install 5.2.34, run it

Suggested fix:
Make it not do that. :-)

This is a duplicate. See #61296, which also contains a fix that worked for me.
