Description:
The ">" sign on a Hungarian keyboard is on the "y". When the Alt + Y pressed then the "Forward engineer an ALTER script" window is appears.

Ergo I can't write ">" sign in MySQL Workbench.

How to repeat:
Press the Alt Gr + y on Hungarian keyboard.

Suggested fix:
Remove that shortcut or make a keyboard shortcut editor in the preferences.

Looks like a duplicate of bug #57975

Yes, 5.22.33 has same problem.

This is similar problem like bug #57975 but not identical.

Marking as duplicate of bug #57975 as both issues are caused by the alt-gr key being intercepted for shortcuts.
