Description:
Installer fails on a virtualized Windows 2003 Server hosted by Host-Europe.

.net framework 4.0 is installed.

It terminates with the message:

MySQL Connector Net 6.3.5 Setup end prematurely because of an error.

How to repeat:
Install MySQL Connector Net 6.3.5 on a Windows Server 2003 x64 machine with Visual Studio 2005. I've tried typical and custom (without programming components).

Looking into msi log, I'd say Valeriy is right and this is a duplicate of Bug#57654. Please try when patched version is available.

Run a custom install without web providers worked for me.
