Exactly the same problem here. MySQL 6.0.10-alpha-win32, Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2, VMWare Server 2.0. Administrator account, Workgroup (not join to a domain).

Thank you for the report. I can not repeat described behavior. Please indicate step-by-step your actions during installation. Including options of Installer and Config Wizard you choose. Please also try with current version 6.0.11
