Description:
The link "see definitions" points to the document http://www.mysql.com/company/legal/supportpolicies/policies-11.html, which is currently titled "Definitions of Support Components".

A closer match would be http://www.mysql.com/about/legal/supportpolicies/policies-12.html "Definitions of Severity Levels". However, even that document does not define bug severities (S1 through S5) but the severity of support issues (1 to 4).

How to repeat:
Visit the link "see definitions" next to the "Severity" field in the bug report form at http://bugs.mysql.com/report.php. Also visit the two links in the description of this bug.

Suggested fix:
Write a document that defines the bug severity levels S1 through S5 and make the link point to that document. Maybe host that document at bugs.mysql.com, so that the link won't be changed again. See Bug #8601, Bug #25069, Bug #8903, Bug #10137.

Thank you for the report.

Verified as described. To repeat turn JavaScript off, then click on "see definitions". With JavaScript enabled correct definitions can be seen.

Thanks, Sveta. Javascript is enabled in my browser (Debian Iceweasel 2.0 a.k.a. Mozilla Firefox 2.0), but I middle-clicked on the link to open it in a different tab.

Since the definitions appear in popup div upon clicking the "see definitions" link, the href for the link was not necessary and was changed to # some time ago.
