Description:
I want to put all of my business logic into stored procedures, and return data as XML format, just like MS-SQL 'select ... form ... for xml'. I think it's very useful to develope business logic cross platforms and specific languages.

How to repeat:
This is a request for new feature.

There is option --xml in the mysql command line client. Did you try it or do you want same functionality in your application?
