Description:
Solaris 10 mysql package still use old init.d where SMF is the prefered way to run application at startup.

How to repeat:
Install mysql on a fresh solaris 10 install with mysql provided package.

Suggested fix:
It would be great if installation script propose installation as an SMF service as an option?
for the installation as an SMF service, see

You cqn also have a look at blastwave as they already done that in their package.
