Description:
wait_timeout_test.func test fails randomly with the following symptoms: 
main.wait_timeout_func         [ fail ]

mysqltest: At line 102: query 'SELECT * from t1' succeeded - should have failed with errno 2006...

Suggested fix:
Fix the races in the test, it's full of sleeps.
