Description:
The MySQLStartupItem.pkg does not install a valid startup item. I have looked into the package:
- "gzip -cd Archive.pax.gz | pax" shows that Archive.pax.gz is empty.
- "lsbom Archive.bom" shows an empty file list.

This is the problem with both the 32Bit and the 64bit package for MySQL Community Server on MacOS X Tiger on PowerPC.

How to repeat:
Simply try installing from the MySQLStartupItem.pkg and have a look into /Library/StartupItems - not even the containing folder is created.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.
