Description:
A large OEM customer gave me a 4M dump file that takes them close to 5 hours to load in to their servers. On my desktop (mysql 5.1.23RC) it consumes 100% of CPU time and ran for half an hour before I killed it - it had loaded 4 of 26 tables. I ran the same dump file through 5.0.22 and it completed without errors in 4.8 seconds.

How to repeat:
Load dump file in mysql 5.1.23
