Thank you for the bug report. Are you able to connect with the server using the mysql.exe client tool using the same connect parameters?. Thanks in advance.

Hi Miguel Solorzano Ok. Already it is working fine, I'm created a new user with shortest username and a different password, without special characters, as "*", and functioned immediately. In previous password I had used, in the composition, the character "*" also a longer username, later that I changed both, started to work well. I believe that it has been this. When I will have free time, I go to make some tests with username and password variants to try to discover this. Thank for your effort in aid. Best regards Fernando Jimenez, Brazil

Check out your machine.config file. It contains settings that apply to an entire computer. This file is located in the %runtime install path%\Config directory. Machine.config contains configuration settings for machine-wide assembly binding, built-in remoting channels, and ASP.NET.
