Description:
After most recent release, user details cannot be viewed anymore. User list can be seen correctly but when user is selected all details are grayed out and only noticable change is that "No user selected" changes to "User without any-host (%) entry selected". In previous RC it showed this correctly. I do have connection to remote network with limited bandwith if this has any relevance. Server is running MySQL 5.0.18 (as provided in OpenSuSE 10.1).

How to repeat:
1. Open connection to server
2. Select "User Administration"
3. Notice that there is text "No user selected" and all field are clear and grayed out.
4. Select user from user list
5. Notice that it says "Fetching User Data..." on statusbar.
6. When it goes away, notice that all field are grayed out and "No user selected" changes as "User without any-host (%) entry selected.

Suggested fix:
Fix it so that user details are shown again.

This behavior is by intention. Read bug #23821 for a description what this is about.

If "Show hosts in user list" is not checked user has no any possibility to know that there are some host to choose from. If I enable this then I see one host under user. It would be much more user convenient to auto select one of the entries and then show for what host it was selected, especially in case when there is only one selection. I see no reason to show list of hosts when there is only one host, just that one user entry. And in anycase there is no entry with '%' for my user and it is pointless to claim incorrectly so.

One possible solution would be to remove this "Show hosts in user list" and auto enable it. But even then you could make it more user convenient for cases of one host only being defined. I see this one host solution the most common one.
