Thank you for the report.

Please try using current 5.0-rc5 GUI Tools and if you can repeat the issue provide information about all setting you made for backup project such as options, schedule time etc. Also provide output of SHOW GRANTS FOR user_you_connect_to_MySQL_Administrator and same command for user who makes backup.

I changed severity of the report, because program error is bug and can't been treated as expected behaviour.

I have the same problem using MySQL Administrator V1.2.6 rc (from GUI Tools 5.0). Do you plan to do something ?? It is actually impossible to do an automatic backup!!!

Jean,

automatic backup works fine for me.

If you want to we can find why it not works for you provide information about all setting you made for backup project such as options, schedule time etc. Also provide output of SHOW GRANTS FOR user_you_connect_to_MySQL_Administrator and same command for user who makes backup.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.
