Yes, this bug makes it a blocker for that new WORKBENCH 1.1.4. Any idea when this will be fixed ? Will there be a update soon ?

Regards,
AC.
[8 Oct 2006 13:46] fix one
Same error on Win2k (5.00.2195), SP4. This renders the whole application unusable.

There is similar Bug #23147

it's also very strange, that i can't manage to delete tables, views, notes etc. that i don't need anymore and that this edit bug was introduced in rc4, because rc3 is working fine from the edit point of view ...
if i may have a suggestion, there are also too few (!) right mouse click options ( aka. nothing appears when i right click ), and more tooltips should be added as well, for faster learning of this application ...
but if it gives error on edit, and there is no way to delete objects, it unusable ;( ( dbdesigner didn't look very nice, but it was usable ( it was missing triggers, of course ) )

This problem has been present in 1.1.5, and is in the 1.1.6 release.

It's probably being caused by something silly - I'm sure new versions of the program for editing tables in your database that doesn't let you edit tables in your database wouldn't be included in the gui-tools bundles if the program didn't work on the developers machines.

I've been wrong before though. ;)

When will this be fixed???

Is there an alternative we can use until then?

Same bug with 1.1.6 on Win XP Pro. How come it's S1 and has been there since 1.1.4 without a fix or a workaround?

Updating version.
