Thank you for the bug report. That project file is an older one built for the Visual Studio 6. There are several problems which it: the path ..\..\lib\debug\strings.lib is wrong because should be used with the release package and not the source package (that directory has different names in both packages). Also the udf_example.cpp exists in the \sql directory in the source package and in the release package just is missed.
