Description:
The Mysql Administration tool works perfectly the first time.

Use the tool, do what you want. Close the tool.

Open the tool again.

Clicking on User Administrator causes the status bar to change to..

"Retrieving data from MYSQL"

And the gtk window fails to "draw" again.

This behavior is now reproducable each time you start mysql-administrator

How to repeat:
Ingredients:

1) A freshly installed Fedora Core 5 system
2) mysql-server ( mysql-server-5.0.18-2.1 )
3) mysql-administrator ( mysql-administrator-1.1.6-2.fc5 )

Start mysql service
# service mysqld start

Set the passwords as per this documentation
# mysql-admin.. etc etc

start mysql-administrator
mysql-administrator &

Click on "User Administration" (note it works)

Close mysql-administrator

start mysql-administrator

Click on "User Administration" (note it doesnt work")

File bug.

Suggested fix:
rm $HOME/.mysqlgui

Feed me an Ipod.

This is a temporary work around. Need to recreate login details at each login.

Damn,

I'll take that back.

This worked as a fix the first few times, now I cant seem to reproduce it using my own steps. *boggle*.
