Description:
The query browser is seriously broken.
Looks like some sort of segfault... the symptoms are many but formost are that the menus don't work and you can't close the application without killing the process.

I am unable to find the previous version for download, so I can't check it against that version.

The status line contains:
"Access violation at address 005BC7B4 in module 'MySQLQueryBrowser.exe'. Read of address 00000000"

How to repeat:
Simply install it.

This looks alot like bug 17472 (Access violation on opening software). Do you have all latest windows patches installed? If yes, perhaps we need to reopen bug 17472 again.

Yes, I have all current patches installed (My system updates automatically).

FYI - I don't actually get the exception on startup... it starts up normally... I only get it when I try to do something.
