Description:
Errors when connecting to MySQL server 8.4.2. The message shown is: 

"Incompatible/non-standard server version or connection protocol detected (8.4.2)

MySQL Workbench is developed and tested for MySQL server versions 5.6, 5.7 and 8.0"

How to repeat:
1) Install MySQL Server Community Edition 8.4.2
2) Run MySQL Workbench 8.0.38 and connect to server

Suggested fix:
Find out why Workbench has difficulties connecting to the latest version of the server.
