Description:
The packages file for Debian 11(Buster) is empty and is affecting the ability to install mysql packages on Debian 11.

This affects all versions of Mysql supported on Debian 11:
https://repo.mysql.com/apt/debian/dists/buster/mysql-5.6/binary-amd64/
https://repo.mysql.com/apt/debian/dists/buster/mysql-5.7/binary-amd64/
https://repo.mysql.com/apt/debian/dists/buster/mysql-8.0/binary-amd64/

How to repeat:
Try to download the file https://repo.mysql.com/apt/debian/dists/buster/mysql-5.7/binary-amd64/packages.gz

Open the packages.gz file downloaded

The archive is empty.

Possibly a similar issue to this one from 2021: https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=104990

Hello Zol Lim,

Thank you for the report and feedback.
I assume that you meant Debian 10 ("Buster") and not Debian 11 ("Buster") as OS code name for Debian 11 is "Bullseye". Supported platform document confirms that MySQL 8.0 is compatible on Debian GNU/Linux 11 and 5.7 is not. Please see https://www.mysql.com/support/supportedplatforms/database.html

But yes, 5.7/8.0 are compatible on Debian 10 ("Buster") but as reported Packages.gz is empty for 5.7/8.0.

regards,
Umesh

Yes, I am referring to Debian 10 and not 11.

Bump on this. We cannot install MySQL on our Debian 10 testbed, which is causing us various issues.

Also confirming we hit this issue and it is annoying (forcing us to change our app build).
Hope it will be resolved soon!
Thanks

Thanks for the bug report. We are working on it.

We have populated the Debian 10 apt repository for MySQL 5.7/8.0. Debian10 is not supported for MySQL 5.6.

I confirm this work again.

Thanks
