Description:
When opening MySQL, a dialogue box popped up saying "An error occured while loading image search_sidebar.png." I clicked close on the dialogue box and when I tried logging into the server connection on the local host, another dialogue box popped up after I put in the password saying "MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem. Parameter is not valid." 

How to repeat:
I am unsure how to repeat this. I had not done anything prior to this error occurring.

Imho this is duplicate of Bug #99285, please see Bug #99285 and follow the suggested fix.
