Description:
The mysql-apt-config package currently outputs the below when ran on Ubuntu 22.04

The detected system (ubuntu jammy) is not supported by MySQL. If you believe the platform is compatible with one of the supported systems, one of the corresponding repositories may be selected.

Falling back to Ubuntu focal also fails with:

                          Depends: mysql-community-client-core (= 8.0.29-1ubuntu20.04) but it is not going to be installed
 mysql-community-server-core : Depends: libssl1.1 (>= 1.1.1) but it is not installable
                               Recommends: mecab-ipadic-utf8 but it is not going to be installed

dpkg -i mysql-apt-config.deb
apt-get update

Hi Mr. Brahney,

Thank you for your bug report.

You have to download the package from our site http://dev.mysql.com. You should download "Community Server" release 8.0.29, for Ubuntu.

We do not support packages by other vendors.

I am using https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/repo/apt/

https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/ also does not list Ubuntu 22.04 under "Select OS Version"

We do have some news for you .....

One of the next 8.0 releases, 8.0.30, 8.0.31 or 8.0.32 will be ported to the Debian that you are using. Exact release is not yet determined, so it would suffice if you would just follow our download pages once per month .....
