Description:
It's related to Bug #70266.

If you have dark theme enabled it won't be applied to MYSQL workbench.

If you decide to resolve it as a duplicate of Bug #80266 please provide information the reasons behind it as I believe it's not a feature request about dark theme, rather a bug report about it not enabling even though it's set to dark theme.

How to repeat:
Install Windows 10 or 11. (Tested with 11, but based on searches it's in Windows 10 too)
Enable Dark Theme Preferences in Windows. (In Windows 11 it's in Setting/Personalization/Colours/Choose your mode. If you set it to custom you'll see that apps setting is under this category as well.)
Install MYSQL Workbench.
Open MYSQL Workbench.

Your Dark Theme Preferences are not applied to MYSQL Workbench.

Suggested fix:
1.
Open Bug #70266 as a feature request for Windows systems and enable theme preference overwriting.

2.
Fix the bug.

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize AppsUseLightTheme (Hex 0 = Dark Theme)

Bug report has a typo. Instead of 80266 it should be Bug #70266.

Other grammatical errors are present, but they are minor and are not misleading (like referencing wrong bug reports).

Yep, it's nothing compared to Bug #70266 being open for over a DECADE 🙃
