Description:
5 minutes ago I launched MySQL Installer in order to check if upgrades were available from some of My MySQL servers and tools. The Installer informed me that the installer needed to upgrade itself and that this upgrade was mandatory for receiving upgrades in the future.

The Installer upgraded itself but now throws an error at launch "object reference not pointing to an onbject intace" (translated from Danish).

As I nwo cannot open the Installer I cannot tell what the new verson is. And I don't remember the old versoin either. But it is not more than 1-1½ month since I/it upgraded last time. Maybe only two weeks or so.

How to repeat:
Launch MySQL Installer and let it upgrade itself. The error will appear at first launch after that.

Suggested fix:
No idea.

Besides the error text is not properly Internationalized. This mismatch of English and current locale is quite ridiclous to look at.

Thanks Peter for your comment, creating the Firewall rule referencing the binary is a good idea, so we will consider it for a future improvement.
