Description:
When I used the Migration tool of WorkBench to migrate data from Oracle 10g to MySQL5.5.16, I got error
'*** ERROR: Reverse engineer selected schemata: DataError("('22003', '[22003] [Oracle][ODBC]Numeric value out of range. (0) (SQLGetData)')"): error calling Python module function DbGenericRE.reverseEngineer'
at the step 'Reverse Engineer Source'.

Do I need set up something before migration or just the Migration Tool can not support migrate Oracle DB so far?

How to repeat:
Just use Migration tool of Workbench to migrate data from Oracle 10g to MySQL 5.5.16.

Suggested fix:
So far, I think the previous tool 'Migration Toolkit' is much better and easier than the Migration Tool of Migration on the supporting of Oracle DB.
Please make it better.

Thanks for your report Wei.
Can you please share with us a dump of the DB that you are trying to migrate
in order to reproduce this issue?
Thanks.

The file attached by me contains an Oracle schema definition. It assumes storage on two tablespaces by name. It will be harmless to remove or modify the storage declarations to use any handy tablespace names available in the Oracle source system.

Hello.
Apologies but Migration from Oracle DBs is not supported: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/wb-migration-database-concepts.html
Thanks.

Sorry I'm late to the party. But I have the same problem. Oracle to MySql migration thru MySql Workbench. Connections are fine, introspect fine, no errors along the way but when I get to schemata list - it's empty. Tried some suggestions I saw posted, nothing works. Do you have any tips or things I can try to get that list?
Thanks
