Description:
MySQL Workbench is not usable on Retina MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.7.4 … the Query pane and ERR
Model pane register mouse clicks as being several inches below the spot that was clicked. Moving the MySQL
Workbench window to an external (Dell) monitor attached to the Retina MacBook machine resolves the problem.

How to repeat:
On a Retina MacBook Pro, while the MySQL Workbench window is on the native laptop screen, try to select a
database from the Query pane.

Force the application to open in low res mode:

Open Finder

Click Applications

Select MySQL Workbench

Cmd+I to open get into

Check Open in Low Resolution Mode

I can confirm that moving MySQL workbench to Low Res mode makes it work fine.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 5.2.44, and here's the changelog entry:

On Mac OS X systems with the Retina display, the mouse cursor
 would register incorrect mouse coordinates.

Thank you for the bug report.
