Description:
Under Edit/Preference/General, the option "Place Sidebar on the Right Side" has no effect.

How to repeat:
1.  Select Edit/Preferences from Menu bar.
2.  Select General tab.
3.  Check "Place Sidebar on the Right Side".
4.  Select OK.
5.  Observe the Sidebar remains on the left side.

Suggested fix:
Activate feature or remove option.
