Description:
I'm getting an exception error when trying to launch the application.  The error message is below.

Exception EAccessViolation in module libmysqladmin.dll at 000013D8.
Access violation at address 00a113d8 in module "libmysqladmin.dll". Read of address 00000010.

How to repeat:
Try to launch MySQL Administrator

Correction on my previous posting.  The error occurs when I tried to connect to MySQL

Could you please verify if the your installation is similar to bug #22391?

The installation is from scratch and not an upgrade.

Do you try to connect to remote or to local server? Your Windows is localized?

Verified as described on Windows XP Home Edition SP1. Windows XP SP2 Professional is not affected.

Bug #22391 was marked as a duplicate of this one.

There is similar bug #22572 with important addition to description of the problem. Bug #22572 also contains workaround of this error.
