Description:
Is there any particular reason that 'drop trigger if exists' is not available?

Technical reason?
Security consideration?

How to repeat:
not relevant I think ..

Suggested fix:
that option would be nice to have so that a long SQL-script will not abort in the middle of it in case a nonexistent trigger if attempted dropped.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments
to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Additional info:

Duplicate of bug #15287 (and dosens of other reports). It is one of the most common feature requests.
