Description:
On selecting "User Administrator" the program says "Retrieving data" and hangs forever.

Initial debugging shows that it's hanging when it calls lock_mysql() (Which tries to acquire a pthread mutex, (possibly from the same thread twice?))

As this is probably a threading issue it might help to know I'm using an SMP machine, AMD64.

How to repeat:
1) Run it
2) Select "User Administrator"

This is not, however, universally reproducable.

* Whilst running the program with a local Xwindows server, the bug shows up.
* Whilst running the program with a remote X server, the bug doesn't show up.

This further suggests threading issues.

Suggested fix:
None yet
(unless you count routing your X traffic through something to slow it down? Naah, didn't think so! )
