Description:
I had a problem when i backup database with data in portuguese(pt-BR) languague like 'ç', 'ã', 'é'... 
The SQL File show caracter like 'ç', 'ã' 'é,'... and then i can't restore the database because many words are unreadble.
When I export with SQLyog this problem don't occur.

Suggested fix:
Maybe contact with SQLyog developers, to know how they have solve this problem.

Was able to reproduce with spanish characters (á,é,ñ)

The backup is in UTF8. Open it as UTF8 file in wordpad / notepad and it will look fine.
