Description:
MySQL 5.6.48 should have been released, but http://repo.mysql.com/yum/mysql-5.6-community/el/6/x86_64/ only exists up to 5.6.45.

Is the CDN cache inconsistent?

I've successfully installed version 5.6.48, but another person seems to fail.

How to repeat:
It may not be reproducible by some people, probably due to CDN or mirror servers issues.

Hi,

Yes, it takes a while for all CDN servers to get the data. We use 3rd party CDN service so the distribution is not really something we can influence. Thanks for reporting we'll check with CDN service but usually, this resolves itself inside a few days.

all best
Bogdan

Thank you for your reply. As far as I have been reported, this issue seems to have been occurring since at least March 2, 2020.

Hi!

On the system that fails what is output from the command:

$ /usr/bin/HEAD http://repo.mysql.com/yum/mysql-5.6-community/el/6/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml

(HEAD command is found in the perl-libwww-perl package)
