Description:
Create Table -> add some columns and choose datatypes -> apply
Alter Table -> look the datatypes 

The datatypes come empty after you apply or look on alter table.

I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with MySQL 8.0.21 but I am not seeing any issues at my end.
Please upgrade to 8.0.21 and report us back if issue persist even in 8.0.21. Thank you.
