Description:
The --without-man option to configure is supposed
to suppress installation of the manual pages. It
works properly in the 4.0 tree, but not in the 4.1
or 5.0 trees. For example, with --without-man,
I still get this when running make install for 4.1:

Making install in man
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'.
mkdir -p -- . /var/mysql/40111/man/man1
 /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ./mysql.1 /var/mysql/40111/man/man1/mysql.1

 /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ./mysql_fix_privilege_tables.1 /var/mysql/40111/man/man1/mysql_fix_privilege_tables.1

How to repeat:
./configure --without-man [other options]
make
make install
