Description:
When typing something in the Schemas filter area (magnifying glass), it is not possible to get information about a table : a dialog windows is displayed with the title "MySQL Workbench Unexpected Error" and the message "MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem ... Report bug"

If I remove the characters from the filter area, I can open the table

How to repeat:
Type anything in the Schemas filter area (magnifying glass).
Double click on a table name.

Thank you for the report.
I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with workbench 8.0.18 but I am not seeing any issues at my end. To investigate further this issue at our end, may I kindly request you to launch workbench under debug mode (-log-level=debug3) and provide unaltered workbench log file(more details about log are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html).
