It would be nice if you offered Automatic Updates to the newest version like most companies offer for their products ;-)

Thank you for your interest in this feature and the feedback. 
Please note that there is already a related feature i.e when you navigate through Help -> Check for updates which  offers similar feature i.e checks the latest available version and option to download and install.  
Alternatively, similar feature is available in the MySQL Installer, please see https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/mysql-installer-catalog-dashboard.html
