Description:
The mysql process was running normally.
The socket file disappeared while mysql was running.

If you try slow-query, it doesn't matter much.
There is no error in host-name.err.

mysql.sock was created at server start
I know it goes away when the server stops.
I don't know why it is suddenly deleted during operation.

How to repeat:
Cannot be reproduced

Thank you for the bug report. Your reported server version 5.1 isn't more supported besides it you have not provided a repeatable test case.
