Hello,

I use the latest version of xampp to create a local server. As I see it comes with 0.4.6-MariaDB - mariadb.org binary distribution. I was able recently to access the database while xampp was running, by connecting to the local instance database and had a message each time that the version isn't fully compatible and some functionalities wouldn't be available. After some time I checked the "Don't show this message again" and I wasn't able to access the database anymore.

These are the logs that show up in wb.log:
13:05:31 [INF][SQL Editor Form]: Opened connection 'Local instance MySQL80' to mariadb.org binary distribution version 10.4.6-MariaDB
13:05:31 [ERR][ WBContext]: Unsupported server version: mariadb.org binary distribution 10.4.6-MariaDB

Is it possible to update either WorkBench or Xampp to be able to access it? I can access it throug popSQL, but that software is garbage.

How to repeat:
Use newest xampp with newest workbench

Suggested fix:
I don't know

Thank you for the bug report. Server MariaDB it's not supported by MySQL WorkBench.
