Description:
I was using 1.1.5 successfully while running the MySQL Administrator tool and a submission webpage webpage.

All seemed to be running fine till the next time I attempted to run the MySQL Query Browser.

Now it fails to load but causes the CPU to run at 100%. (I am viewing the CPU info with the Windows Task Manager.)
The webpage and MySQL Administrator still run perfectly.
I have been using MySQL Control Center BETA in place of the Query Browser.

I did uninstall the Query Browser (even the links in the registry) and reinstalled 1.1.5 Same symptoms.
Again I uninstalled the Query Browser 1.1.5 (cleaned the registry of links) and installed Query Browser 1.1.6. Still the CPU is slammed and the program never loads.

I've searched the online database for an answer - nothing. Asked customer service - referred here.

If you need any additional information. I'll be glad to help.

David

How to repeat:
I try to run the program on a clean install only to have the same event occur. The CPU reaches 100% processing for the program but the program never loads.

I have not experienced this kind of issue, then I assume is something
happened in your box environment. Are you installed a new program,
applied a service package or you have verified for virus ?

During its last functional state I was working on getting PHP to submit the current date into a newly created database attribute. I kept getting a double entry. I removed the attribute, using MySQL Administrator, while Query Browser was running. Refreshed the Query Browser and was able to continue till I attempted to run the program again.

I do allow Microsoft to update my system regularly.
In addition McAfee updates and runs on a daily basis; so does Spybot and AdAware. But all of these programs were installed prior to the Query Browser; they are also updated regularly.

When I performed a search for Registry entries, I used "MySQL Browser" and "Query Browser". Would there be any other search criteria to help resolve this issue?
